For years, Hosokawa has chosen Livellara’s Tokyo Design Studio plates.

In 1992, chef Hiromichi Hosokawa opened his restaurant in the center of Amsterdam. Hosokawa is one of the best-known Japanese restaurants in Europe. Hosokawa can only be considered a master of his art. In his restaurant, he combines experience, passion, and technique to serve succulent dishes that are thought out and prepared to perfection. He uses the best ingredients to create fantastic dishes because he has always wanted to be one of the best chefs.

He and his son sous-chef Makoto selects their kitchen staff based primarily on experience and passion for Japanese cuisine. Each cook starts from the bottom and works hard to excel in his or her cooking. This year, Makoto will take over the helm to bring the restaurant into a new era. The Hosokawa restaurant in Amsterdam chose our Cobalt Blue collection by Tokyo Design Studio.
