Case History | Fernando’s Restaurant – Alkmaar

Fernando comes from Colombia where, like many other boys, he dreamed of becoming a professional soccer player. Not only did he dream of becoming a soccer player, Fernando also dreamed of becoming something else, an accomplished chef.

After earning a degree in psychology, he worked alongside Hans Kamm senior at Nero’s Place. And it was here that he realized that cooking was his great passion and what he always wanted to do.

At Nero’s Place he learned a great deal, and then left to work for a variety of restaurants. In any case, the time had come for him to plan his own restaurant, Fernando’s, he opened with childhood friend Mark.
